MatesAn AI teammate for your sales team
Mates gives everyone on your sales team an AI teammate, called a mate. When a contract is signed, your mate sets up the account and lets the team know in the thread. Ask it for a brief before a call, and the brief shows up in the channel's docs. It all happens in shared channels, so whoever handles onboarding has everything.

How approvals and permissions work
- Nothing goes out to a customer until you approve it, unless you've chosen otherwise.
- Approval requests come to you, the owner. If you don't answer within 24 hours, the request expires.
- A signed contract can start your mate, but only if you set that trigger yourself.
- Your mate only works in the channels you've added it to.
- A teammate can ask your mate for a brief or an account setup. It only acts if you allow it.
- The whole channel sees what your mate did, so the hand-off to onboarding is already written down.
